What if my tenant stops paying rent?

We act quickly, contact the tenant, and follow a structured arrears process. If the issue continues, we will guide you on next steps and arrange for the appropriate legal notice to be served.

If you have Rent and Legal Protection through Goodlord, we will instruct them to handle the claim and legal process. If not, we can arrange for a solicitor to be instructed on your behalf.

When should I review the rent?

Annually. We monitor the market and advise when an increase is appropriate, usually using a Section 13 notice.

Why get Rent and Legal Protection?

Everything after move in, including rent collection, maintenance, compliance, property visits, and full tenancy management with a dedicated team.

Who can be a guarantor for renting?

It protects your income if a tenant stops paying rent. The policy can cover rent until vacant possession is achieved, along with legal costs to regain possession.

It can also include cover for property damage above the deposit, contract disputes, and even alternative accommodation or storage costs in certain situations, giving you full peace of mind.
